Successful use case webinar with ALTANA
In the use case webinar “Strengthening ALTANA as a Strategy-Driven Company,” Dr. Benjamin Erb, Corporate Strategy at ALTANA and Ronald Herse, VP Content Development at Evolutionizer, spoke at the beginning of December on the topic of end-to-end strategy process with Solyp 4.0.
As one of the leading specialty chemical companies ALTANA An annual strategy process in more than 40 planning units supported by SOLYP3 has been taking place for 12 years.
Focus on strategy development and formulation
The participants learned how ALTANA initiated the next level of quality strategy work across the Group. This gave them information on how the strategy architecture, the previous process and the methodology were critically reflected on and restructured with the individual ALTANA business areas via remote workshops and how the focus is shifting to strategy development and formulation.
In addition, everything revolved around how strategy can be implemented completely — “end-to-end” — in Solyp 4.0. This involved the integration of goals, implementation and connection with business planning. The result is more agile strategy work that is spread over significantly more shoulders, coordinated more closely with each other and individually adapted to the needs of the individual planning units.
