ebm-papst relies on Solyp

We are very pleased that ebm-papst Welcome to the Solyp platform.

The Enterprise Cloud for Strategy is primarily used for portfolio management of strategic initiatives. Dr. Marie José Estevão (VP Strategy & Corporate Development at ebm-papst Group) and her team have decided to use Solyp to initialize and evaluate strategic projects and then manage the portfolio of all strategic measures.

There will be both Operational excellence Programs as well as all strategic projects of business units are displayed, tracked and reported in Solyp. This ensures that management has a detailed overview of all strategic projects worldwide and can measure the implementation of the strategy and the achievement of goals. In a second step, the Functional Strategies operationalized and implemented with Solyp.

ebm-papst is one of the world's leading manufacturers of energy-saving electric motors, fans and drive technology solutions. In fiscal year 2019/2020, the EBM Group achieved sales of around 2.2 billion euros. More than 14,500 employees in almost 50 international subsidiaries across six business areas have contributed to this.

ebm-papst was recently named Top Innovator 2021 at the Top 100 innovation competition. For the current financial year, the ebm-papst Group is investing 110 million euros in research and development and is planning investments of 134 million euros, including in a new R&D test center.
